I love velvet, I love leopard pattern, so what a great joy to see this old antique chair becoming beautifull again covered with this fabric!
Chic and bold
This patterned velvet comes from @colefaxandfowler.
This wasn’t just a cover because we had to plump the seat with a new webbing (from underneath, just like you saw in my tutorial).
We also fixed the wood and add some taint where it was needed.
I used 14 mm decorative nails as a finish for this seat. This kind of project made the whole point of upholstery don’t you think ?
I just love this chair!
