What a crazy project
This summer I did an amazing project in collaboration with my friend the artist Michel Pavin.
White card for Art.
I just loved so much the idea to collaborate with the artist Michel Pavin on a seat together. I was just here to provide a (nice) frame here. We wanted to use one of my chair like a white frame, a white page.
Would you seat on art ?
So i found a beautifull but old bergere, put all the old paint out to paint everything white like the cotton fabric I found at Romo Fabrics.
The seat is here just a pretext to bring some art in your house. This is really obvious here
I love this because bringing some art in the usual is also what i’m trying to do on my daily projects. Bring some Art & Luxury, usefull pieces of furnitures filled with luxurious materials and fabric, bespoke intentions, handmade to please the eyes but also sometimes to keep alive some shared memories.
What’s Art by the way ?
I also love all the questions about art this project brings out. Some said it’s outrageous to seat on art and some it’s way more outrageous to use some antic piece of furniture to paint on it. 🤔
